Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier.
Just browse our Catalogue, enter the quantity against the part you wish to purchase and then click on "add to cart".
Continue shopping until you have all you need and then click on "checkout".
You will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept credit / debit card payment - Visa, MasterCard and Switch including Delta, Electron and Solo.
We do not charge for any item until it is despatched.
There is no minimum order quantity or value.

Important Note: Only a trained competent Electrician must fit electric spares.

Shipping And Handling
All orders are sent by first class post.
Parcels over 10kg are sent standard parcel post.
We charge £3.50 for Shipping and Handling within the UK, including the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.
We charge £5.00 for Shipping and Handling within the rest of Europe. (European destinations as defined by the Royal Mail)
We charge £10.00 for Shipping and Handling to World Zone 1 and 2 (World Zone destinations as defined by the Royal Mail).
Shipping and Handling Costs are exclusive of VAT.

Delivery Schedule
Items are despatched, using first class post.
Parcels over 10kg are sent standard parcel post.
We endeavour to despatch your order from stock within two working days.
Non-stock items will be despatched when they arrive from our suppliers, typically within five to seven working days.
We will send you an e-mail when your goods are despatched.

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you.
We will place an immediate order with the manufacturer and will despatch your goods as they become available.
Generally, you will receive back ordered goods within 5 to 7 working days.
If goods are despatched in more than one shipment, you will only be charged Shipping and Handling on the first Shipment.

Tax Charges
17.5% VAT is added to all services and purchases.

Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption.
They are only decrypted after they reach us. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
We make use of a secure server, you will notice the 'golden padlock' when entering your card details.

Returns Policy
Occasionally you may want to return items. We operate a 10 day "no quibble" guarantee.
If you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in it's original condition, unopened,
within 10 days and we will issue a refund for the price you paid for the part less a 10% restocking fee.
(We cannot refund the shipping and handling costs).
Before retuning a part you MUST e-mail us at sales@electricspares.com
Please specify a reason for return, and if the goods are faulty, please provide a full description of the fault.
We will send you the address that you must return the part to.
We will notify you when we have processed your refund.
For your protection we recommend you return goods using recorded delivery.
Our returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
